elbion music is a small self publishing house for sheet music, CDs & download music, which I founded to spread my musical work.
My burgeois name is Albrecht Nolting. I live in Germany and studied music, fine arts and media science. I’ve been playing the piano since the age of 10. At the age of 15 I started to compose my first little piano pieces. With 20 I got my first multitrack synthesizer and started to arrange my ideas, which usually start at the piano.
When writing down sheet music for the piano I publish these works under my real name.
If I compose, record & arrange my musical ideas in the field of score music or electronical music I publish those pieces under my pseudonym elbion.
I’m a nature lover. I get a lot of my inspiration in my creative work from mother earth. Beside being a musician and an artist, I’m a hiker, rock climber, sea kayaker, explorer, traveller, photographer, painter, teacher …
Always full of curiosity, astonishment and with an eye and sense for the beautiful magical aspects of life, I try to bring those emotions into my music and into my other work.
